Peace Sign - Amber and Copper
This Copper Peace Sign measures 9 inches and has a stone in the center as the focal point in varying colors of amber. Hand cut brown stained glass, red glass millefiori and copper colored mirror were used. This has a D-ring on the back for easy hanging, the sides and back are painted dark brown.
Did you know ... the peace symbol, popularly known as the anti-nuclear emblem, is one of the most widely recognized peace symbols. It was designed in 1958 by Gerald Holtom in support of the British Nuclear Disarmament movement. The symbol was widely used in the US in 1958 during the nuclear test. Over the years it still holds appeal with both young and old alike.
