This is one gorgeous mosaic bowl! This originally was a vintage sponge painted bowl pretty as it was, but I saw more potential for it as a piece of mosaic art. Found in a second hand store, ready for a facelift.

I created the mosaic inside the bowl using beautiful stained glass in blues, glass tiles in beige and blue/green, glass gems in a medium tan color and blue Smalti (specialized mosaic tesserae made from richly colored glass. Originally developed for Byzantine mosaics, the glass contains metal oxides which produce an almost infinite range of color possibilities.)

This beauty can be useful but it looks great just as it is. It looks wonderful in the sunlight and lamplight. Chances are when gift-giving time comes around, you will be sure to find someone who can appreciate the time and attention it took to create this mosaic.

Great for newlyweds or anniversaries. Gift yourself! You deserve a treat! Place it in the center of a table in the living room, dining room or entryway. Can be used for keys and coins, or just as it is without anything in it. I've used these mosaic bowls for my hair brush, scrunchies, ponytail holders, barrettes, etc.; must be protected due to possible scratching of the glass and/or staining of the grout.

Not recommended for foods of any kind.

To clean this bowl you can run it under warm water and wash with mild soap if necessary and gently wipe out with a damp sponge. Do NOT use harsh chemicals. Do NOT place in dishwasher or submerge in water.

This awesome bowl measures 7 inches high and about 4 inches high.

    Decorative purposes only.

    Indoor Use Only.

Payment must be paid-in-full within 5 (five) business days of order otherwise your order will be canceled.

    Shipping from United States

Your item(s) will be shipped generally within 5-7 days. As I live in an area where there are changes in seasons, shipping may be delayed if we have bad weather. During busy shipping times, it's out of my control how long it takes for your item(s) to arrive. I always provide tracking information to help you.

FREE Shipping (USA only). I use UPS and/or USPS Priority Mail for all mosaics. Whenever possible I place your mosaic within another box and secure it using bubble wrap, tape, tissue paper, packing peanuts, whatever I have available. I reuse materials often. I will do whatever is needed to make sure your mosaic gets to you in one piece.

    Returns and exchange details

In the event you order an item and for some reason you just don't like it when it arrives, but there is no damage, then I will certainly offer you an exchange for another item at the same price (does not apply to custom made to order items). It must be returned to me in it's original packaging within 14 days after you receive it. You will be responsible for the return S&H fee.

I do the best I can when shipping out my art to wrap it securely, but once it leaves our porch heading toward your door, I can't predict what will happen. Weather and other obstacles often cause a problem or two. If the item arrives to you damaged, for example a piece of glass falls off, please convo me, share photos and I will offer the best way to repair it, if possible, if you are willing to give it a try. If it is beyond your scope of repair, please return it to me (you pay for return shipping fees). I will repair it and return it to you at no additional cost to you.

You will receive a full refund if your item(s) was destroyed beyond repair in shipping. We'll follow the UPS/USPS procedures for items damaged through them. Please contact me immediately should that be the case, take a photo of the item and the box as it arrived to you, to share with USPS. They will not issue a refund without this documentation.

At this time, I'm not accepting custom work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about anything you see in my shop. I'm always willing to chat about commissions and customs. Often I will refer you to another shop here on Etsy that does what you're looking for. I love to share the love. :)
