Mosaic Love Mirror. Those who do mirror work should have this mirror to remind them, they are loved.
This quote: "What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you."— Ralph Waldo Emerson, is written on the back of the mirror. It is a love mirror, sending you words of love, hearts and flowers in assorted things. There's old jewelry and word tiles, plastic hearts and red ribbon. The stained glass I used in black was a large vintage piece donated to me years ago. Broken, hand cut mirror flows through the frame as well as stained glass in variegated grey and pink, white and beige, and off-white. Tempered glass (also known as crash glass) was used over I painted a section using acrylic red. Washi tape has been added around the frame in red and white polka dots and white with black polka dots.
There was a lot of time and love that went into this piece. At first it stayed as mirror and stained glass, and tempered glass originally created in 2011. Updating it this year has turned it into an eye-catching reminder of just how loved you are.
Gift it, keep it, but by all means enjoy it. This is a wonderful reminder that love can be everywhere.
